It's assumed this gig was cancelled due to Patton hurting his hand at the I-Beam gig earlier in the month.
The flyer includes details of a gig by Surf Punks (also supported by The Squids) at The Strand. This gig has been found in gig listings in newspapers, but the Fender's gig has not. Fender's was also having noise complaint issues at the time and may have cancelled the gig for that reason. Fender's appeared to stop advertising in LA Weekly around this time too.
