The Cat Club
New York, NY, USA
supported by The Lost
[No setlist details]
Confirmation:
Review in "Village Noize" NY fanzine Issue Eight. Interview with the band in the same issue was conducted after their England tour but before their Metallica support, so it is assumed this gig review (which had no date) was between those tours some time between the end of June and the start of August.

Cash Box 9th September 1989 - page 4 - "Wednesday night is going to be every bit as weird [...] Then it's off to the Cat Club again (I've almost gotten used to the purple walls and exorbitant drink prices) to see (drum roll please) Faith No More. This is the show of the week, hands down. And I think "Epic", off their new Slash/Warner Bros. album The Real Thing, is going to be one of the songs of the year. On my list anyway."

Daily News New York, 27 Aug 1989, page 20 City Lights - gig listing "Face No More" 10pm
